    The Web Design assignment was very helpful and enjoyable. I really had fun thinking of what a possible classroom website could look like and getting to make it my own. I liked that I had creative control to make the website whatever I wanted it to be. I also liked how easy the Weebly website was to use. The different drag and drop tools made designing the site easily and made choosing the different elements I wanted to use easy as well. I really enjoyed watching the site come together. The thing I didn't like was how you edited the fonts and colors. That part was a little confusing, but once I got the hang of it it went smoothly. 

    Using Diigo was also interesting and I am glad I was able to learn new skills from it. This application would be useful to use as a teacher and with team members because it allows for you to easily input your own thoughts about different resources and also allows each team member to get a chance to input their own ideas and resources they found on their own. Diigo could be used in the classroom because it can be a way for students to find resources and share them with the class so that everyone can view them.

Technology and teacher professional development is very important because technology is used within education all the time. In today's time, technology is used so widely in education it can influence the learning and teach happening in the classroom. it is important for educators to understand and push innovation in their classrooms so that the technology can have a positive impact and make learning for the students easier. One resource I found, called The Innovative Educator can be used by teachers to stay up to date on technology and how it can be used in the classrooms. This can help engage the students and foster learning environments.

    Hey there Zoie,
    I visited your website and I think you did a great job with the contrast, repetition of colors, fonts, and images, which created the alignment of your site. There was also a good use of proximity, which was difficult for me to figure out. My only feedback would be to add some additional photos to help build the contrast and flow overall, but other than that great design!

    I really enjoyed going through your website. Everything is formatted the same, and the repetition of it makes it aesthetically pleasing, as well as easy to navigate. Your colors on the background and text are all the same, and it also makes it pleasing to look at, and easy to understand. Nice job!

 Blog Journal #9      My experience in EME2040 has been great! I am taking one of the in-person sections. I really like this classroom experience because being in person gives me a chance to ask the instructor questions about things I may not understand on the assignments or portfolio items. Especially for me, because I sometimes get confused about using the technology, so having the instructor as a resource is super helpful. I also feel like I am more engaged in the class, as compared to a fully online class. I also think that it is helpful to have the zoom option if I am sick or have to miss class, so I can still be involved.  Journal #10      Assignment 5 was very interesting and I learned a lot about how to make interactive and engaging PowerPoints. With this assignment, I learned how to use buttons that allow the viewer to go forward and backward in the presentation. I also learned how to make it so it was like a game and not just switching through the slides in linear order. It was also interesting to use the different sound effects and transitions. This will also be useful for the future so that if I have a lesson I can use an interactive PowerPoint to make it more hands-on. I hope to improve this next time by adding more elements.      In my future field, I think I will mainly use data collection surveys to check in on my students and use them as a tool to build stronger relationships.
